    Paul Rayner bio

    Paul is a specialist in communicating strategy and change, providing mainly internal communications advice and support to private and public sector organisations.

    Paul has spent the past 20 years building an eclectic CV, including process reengineering, change management, operations management, strategic planning, human resources, technology, and communications. His human resources work includes time as Head of HR Services for Bank of New Zealand, GM Organisation Development for @Work Insurance, and a period consulting at London Business School.

    His dual HR/Communications skill set is unique; he is currently the only practicing communications consultant holding professional accreditation (MHRINZ) with the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand.

    Prior to forming Working Words Paul held senior communications roles with Inland Revenue and Westpac. Recent clients have come from a range of industry sectors including: Education, Health, Technology, Justice, Finance & Insurance, Film & Media, Manufacturing, and Distribution.

    Paul also develops and facilitates communication workshops and speaks at conferences in New Zealand and Australia. Paul also lectures at Otago Medical School on the topic of leadership and change.
